Transmission repairs can be expensive. But it’s not so much when you consider what’s involved in all of the work completed. Today’s transmissions can be complicated and consist of hundreds of individual components. During a major repair, each one is removed, cleaned, and inspected to exacting tolerances. Any worn or damaged parts are then repaired or replaced. Finally, once the transmission is completely re-assembled, and re-installed. If that’s not enough to justify the cost, there’s something else to consider: Virtually all of today’s automatic transmissions are computer controlled. All of which boils down to one, inescapable conclusion: Sure, transmission work can be expensive…but, dollar for dollar, it’s one of the best values around.

We will first perform a diagnostic service, which includes checking the level and condition of the transmission fluid, road testing your car, diagnosis of the external transmission controls, and computer diagnostic check if needed. This process usually lasts between 20 and 30 minutes.

Minor services can sometimes be performed the same day since they do not involve the removal of your transmission. Major services and/or transmission rebuilding could take several days so that your transmission can be properly removed, reconditioned or rebuilt, and reinstalled.
